<grandpa>Well, a long long time ago I heard this powerful voice blaring out of my brother's speakers...</grandpa>

Ok that was not so long ago. It was in 1997. My brother had bought her debut album and I still remember hearing Beautiful Goodbye for the first time. It blew me away, totally! I decided to listen to the entire album, and I was hooked.
Since then I tried to see her in concert (I was 14 at the time), and I almost saw her live in 1999. However, she was touring with Whitney Houston and the gig got cancelled

And she never set foot in Europe after that...at least to my knowledge.
Anyway, I bought Tuesday's Child the day it came out in 1999. She did it again! I had already seen the video for "Believe In You" and I totally loved it (I still do love that song very much). It immediately became my favorite AM album, and it still is to this date for me personally.
I worked with Gary and Krissy on their website called "The electric blue Amanda room". Fun days, let me tell ya

They gave me a nickname, The Tominator (LMAO!

), and we updated the website for quite some time. I stopped being involved after a while, because my study was demanding my full attention.
And then, suddenly, out of nowhere Amanda announced her third album was coming out. So I bought that one as well. I like most songs, however they lack the 'timelessness' of the previous two albums, imho.
So, who am I? I am Tom, 24 years old, born and raised in The Netherlands. I got my bachelor degree in IT, my major was Software Engineering. I'm currently working fulltime as project leader and programmer. I design and develop concepts, websites and software most of the time. Other than that I enjoy listening to music, going to concerts, working out, swimming, reading, watching movies, writing poetry/lyrics, traveling, and having fun in general.
