You might get some more traffic if the board showed up on google when you search amanda marshall, I went to the URL submission page and entered this and your addicted to amanda main site, at least that will get the google spider to crawl the sites. You should add a couple of text links to any sites you have, links in from other sites increase the page rank for a site. There are all sorts of ways to increase traffic but it's a pain in the behind. Right now it seems like just chance if someone new finds the board, they have a link to your other site on amanda's official site but it's kind of a round about route to get here. This is the biggest issue for any website, you can have the best site in the world but if nobody sees it then it doesn't matter

yea i added it to google and others before. Well the best way is thru my site i guess. It's on her official one, so thats where most people are probably finding it. But even if people come to the site, doesn't mean they'll come to the board, even if i do have links for it on there.

Plus, there are all those members from the other board too. I did send a couple emails to everyone from there. I hope they all got them.. But if they have that link, they'll find this one, cuz i put a message about it on there.

Also, a bunch of people have already signed up here, but most of them have hardly come back! bah! haha! There are also a lot of lurkers too.. SIGN UP GUYS!!

i know she's not around now, but that doesn't mean we have to stop talking about her or anything else. This place isn't really that different from any other board. There are a lot of other things we can talk about too, other than Amanda. But we can always talk about Amanda too, i don't mind! haha! It would be cool to get other people's opinions about her and her music, concerts, etc.

But i guess all we can do is wait and hope people will come. That's how it always goes.

The only reason I mention maybe adding some more text links is that is one of the factors that effects where you show up on google. The pages that show up first are the ones relating to your search that have the most inbound links from other pages so the more links to any given site, the more likely it is to reach the top of the google listing for any given search. That's why so many sites will have a links page with a bunch of links to other sites, they often don't have anything to do with each other, it's just the web masters trading links to increase their page rank on google. The whole search engine optimization thing is a pain, I've got a bunch of sites myself that nobody ever visits.
